CAKE FOUND

A cake has been found in the car park outside Glanmire Credit Union. It is thought the cake, believed to be a Red Velvet sponge, was purchased in SuperValu, then carried over to where the owner’s car was parked outside the Credit Union and then placed on the ground next to the car, possibly while the unlucky Glanmire local placed other items of shopping into the boot of their car, before they drove off leaving the cake in situ in the car park.

Not the cake in question

Unfortunately CCTV cameras in the area were not directed at the spot in question and so it is almost impossible to say what make of car the owner of the cake was driving, although it is believed to have been a blue Nissan Micra, 03 - C reg.

There is some text, written in a deep red buttercream icing on top of delicious vanilla buttercream icing on the top of the cake, which reads;

Happy Birthday John. Never mind about Sarah. Forget about her xxx”.

If this matches the description of a cake you are missing, please contact Glanmire Credit Union, where the cake is being kept in their safe, as soon as possible
