CRISP FINISH

Glanmire residents clearly love their chocolate and in particular Cadbury’s Golden Crisp, The chocolate bar was revealed to have been sold more often in Glanmire (per capita) than in any other part of the country, during Q4 of Cadbury’s financial year last year.

The Dairy Milk milk chocolate bar with delicious golden honeycombed granules certainly is hard to resist, and has been a mainstay of Cadbury’s arsenal of choc-blocks (6x2 square chocolate bar blocks) over the years. Although the shape and packaging of the crunchy chocolate treat has changed over the years, it’s the sweet golden taste that has kept consumers coming back for more.

Ryan’s Supervalu has had a major role in this happening as it accounts for the vast majority of all Golden Crisps sold in the Glanmire Area.

A Cadbury Ireland spokesperson said “we’re pleased with the amount of units shifted, but there’s always room for improvement”.

We will all eagerly await what the famous chocolatier comes up with next.
